Gervias has already tapped Steve Carell, Johnny Depp and Liam Neeson to make guest appearances on the mockumentary called, "Life's Too Short."
The show follows the daily life of a dwarf actor who runs a talent agency for fellow dwarves but keeps the best parts for himself. The main character will be played by Warwick Davis.
Gervais described the show as a cross between "The Office," and his showbiz-themed comedy "Extras."
The seven-part show launches on the BBC this fall. Gervais has said if Davis isn't a success, "I'll eat Johnny Depp's hat."
