Teens help paint mural at 'Place Called Home'

A group of teens in South Los Angeles spent Saturday, August 20, 2011 helping paint a mural at 'A Place Called Home.' The mural was designed by well-known artist Gary Palmer and depicts a young man's journey from the dangerous city streets to an environment of hope and encouragement.

"A Place Called Home" is a non-profit center that provides educational programs, counseling and classes in music, dance and art for underserved youth.
