Two people who likely died from heat exposure in Joshua Tree National Park were identified Thursday.

The bodies of a prominent Dutch music promoter and his German girlfriend were found Monday night about a mile apart.

Their deaths are big news in Germany and the Netherlands.

Augustinus Van Hove, 44, was the director of a popular concert hall in the Netherlands.

Authorities believe Van Hove and his 38-year-old girlfriend, Helena Nuellett, became stranded in the park and may have been walking for help when they were overcome by the triple-digit heat.
