Former "So You Think You Can Dance" choreographer and former "America's Best Dance Crew" judge Shane Sparks pled 'no contest' to a felony charge of unlawful sexual intercourse with a 12-year-old girl.

The dance instructor, whose full name is Melvin Shane Sparks, was sentenced to 270 days in jail and avoided eight additional felony charges by making the plea deal on August 16, according to legal documents obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com after they were made public on August 25.

In addition, Sparks will have 5 years of formal probation, complete a 52 week sex offender counseling program, he must stay 100 yards away from the victim at all times, may never be in the company of a minor female without another adult present, must pay several fines and fees and must complete his jail sentence within one year from August 16.

According to the disturbing legal documents, Sparks forced her to have sex with him after offering to drive her home from a dance class he taught in 1994, when she was 12 years old. He instead brought her to his home and raped her before bringing her home.

In addition, investigators found "at least six other victims, whom between the ages of 12-17, were also abused" by Sparks.

Sparks has been free on bail since his arrest on December 18, 2009 and pled "not guilty" in March 2010. His lawyer at the time told E! News, "These allegations did not come out of the blue, they came from outer space. They came from another solar system."

Sparks was nominated for an Emmy Award for "Outstanding Choreography" for his work on season three of "So You Think You Can Dance."

Sparks dated actress Francia Raisa, 23, who stars as Adrian Lee in ABC Family's "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" for three years before breaking up in 2009, according to an interview Raisa did with Latina magazine.
