Minka Kelly, formerly of the show "Friday Night Lights," and Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees baseball team have broken up after three years of dating.
It was unclear when the split ocurred, but People magazine, which carried the report on Friday, said the 31-year-old actress was spotted at Yankee Stadium when Jeter, 37, scored his 3,000th career hit during a game with the Tampa Bay Rays on July 9.
Kelly and Jeter had kept their relationship largely private and have not commented publicly about the breakup.
Kelly appears in the upcoming ABC reboot of the show "Charlie's Angels," which is set to debut on September 22. She rose to fame playing Lyla Garrity on the drama series "Friday Night Lights." She left the show in 2009.
Kelly later starred in the NBC series "Parenthood" and in the movies "The Roommate" with "Gossip Girl" actress Leighton Meester and the Adam Sandler-Jennifer Aniston comedy "Just Go With It," both of which were released earlier this year.
