Station Fire rehabilitated 2 years later

LA CANADA FLINTRIDGE, Calif.

The wildfire burned for two months becoming the largest in Los Angeles County history, but things look a lot different now.

Volunteers for the Student Conservation Association have worked hard over the past two summers to rehabilitate the forest land. Thanks to them, the Wildwood campground and other areas are back open to the public.

The fire ended up destroying more than 160,000 acres and nearly 90 homes. It is also to blame for the deaths of two firefighters.
