Though Beyonce nearly stole the show with her big pregnancy announcement, Britney Spears, Katy Perry and Adele came away as the big winners of the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.

Spears nabbed a moonman for Best Pop Video and was honored with an MTV Video Vanguard Award. Katy Perry received an award for "E.T.," her collaboration with Kanye West.

"Now this is the time when you wanna interrupt me Kanye," Perry joked, referring to the rapper's infamous interruption of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech two years ago. West laughed and simply thanked "Katy Perry for being so brave for letting me on her record."

Perry's husband, Russell Brand, was on hand for a tribute to the late Amy Winehouse that included Tony Bennett and Bruno Mars.
