"Just got kicked off a southwest flight because my pants sagged too low! What the (expletive)? No joke!" Billie Joe Armstrong tweeted Friday night.
A news producer for San Francisco's KGO-TV was on the same flight from Oakland to Burbank and says a flight attendant asked Armstrong to hike his pants higher.
When he refused, Armstrong and his flying companion were escorted off the plane.
Southwest says Armstrong was allowed on the next flight and that the matter was resolved.
