Rathgeb pleaded no contest to attempted voluntary manslaughter and admitted to using a gun to cause great bodily injury. She is accused of shooting her husband in the back in October 2010.
Rathgeb's husband recovered from the shooting. He was present in court Wednesday.
Rathgeb was also ordered to pay $70,000 to the California state victim restitution fund.
In exchange for the no-contest plea, the L.A. County District Attorney's Office dismissed one count of attempted murder.
Rathgeb was the 1968 Playboy Playmate of the Year, using the name Angela Dorian.
