OTRC: Mr. Moviefone reviews 'Contagion,' 'Warrior,' 'Bucky Larson: Born to be a Star'

Jude Law appears in a scene from the film 'Contagion.' (Warner Bros. Pictures)

This week at the movies, it's a cage match between brothers, Bucky Larson wants to be a star, of porn that is, which leads us to an unknown disease that's spreading out of control in "Contagion."

Steven Soderbergh's latest is about the struggle to contain a worldwide pandemic that quickly kills its victims.

As doctors race to find a cure, panic erupts in the struggle for survival. The all-star cast includes Matt Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Laurence Fishburne, Kate Winslet, Marion Cotillard, Jude Law and many more.

The Reel Deal: With the incredible cast and ripped-from-the-headlines feel, contagion is validation for me not touching door knobs and pressing elevator buttons with my knuckles. It's scary as hell and an infectious thriller that's worth catching. I'm in.

It's a cage match in and out of the ring in "Warrior."

It's a story about two estranged brothers rising in the ranks of the MMA. Tommy forges his way to the top with his father, a recovering alcoholic, as his trainer. Brendan is a struggling school teacher, who enters the ring to provide for his family. Their paths lead to a face-off where the stakes are high and the fight is personal.

The Reel Deal: A hugely entertaining sports drama that packs a wallop. In the spirit of "Rocky," "Miracle" and "The Fighter," you'll be cheering for "Warrior." I'm in.

Nick Swardson wants to bag more than groceries in "Bucky Larson: Born to be a Star."

After being fired from his supermarket job, Bucky finds out he's the son of two former porn stars. Figuring that makes him a natural, Bucky takes his big dreams out West where he's ready to expose it all in the name of fame. Also starring are Christina Ricci and Don Johnson.

The Reel Deal: From Adam Sandler, the guy who's trying to kill comedy, this is a movie where even the $1 rental fee from Red Box would feel like a rip-off. "Bucky Larson: Born to be a Star" is dead on arrival. I'm out.
