Two Orange County schools were put on lockdown as Anaheim Police searched a neighborhood for suspects in a violent home invasion on Tuesday morning.

Authorities responded to a robbery at a house in the area of W. Heffron Drive and S. Texella Court at about 3:30 a.m. When officers arrived, the suspects were seen fleeing on foot.

A man in his 30s was beaten during the robbery. He was taken to a local hospital in stable condition, police said.

Authorities conducted a house-to-house search for the suspects and detained one person.

The lockdowns were lifted just after 11:30 a.m.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
