January Jones is the new mother of a baby boy.
The actress, 33, reportedly gave birth on Tuesday, September 13, her spokesperson confirmed to People magazine on September 15.
The baby is named Xander Dane Jones and both mom and child are "doing great." The actress confirmed her pregnancy in April, months after she and "Saturday Night Live" cast member Jason Sudeikis broke up.
Jones has not revealed the identity of her baby's father. She said in June that she did not know the sex of the baby. "I'm having a hard time. I'm looking for boy and girl names obviously, because it's going to be a surprise for me," the actress said. "I love Cary Grant, I like Marilyn Monroe. That seems kind of like a celebrity thing to do, those weird names. I'm not really into that. I don't want to be too cliché about it."
Jones, who recently starred in "X-Men: First Class," is known for her role as Betty Draper in the AMC drama series "Mad Men," which takes place in the 1960s and stars Jon Hamm as Don Draper, an advertising firm partner who was once married to her character. The fifth season is slated to debut in March 2012 and the show is set to air for at least two more seasons.
