Olivia Wilde channeled her inner Greek goddess in a white, Grecian-style Marchesa gown at the recent screening for her new movie "Butter" at the Toronto Film Festival.
The 27-year-old actress' floor-length dress featured gold embellishment under a bateau-style neckline and sheer balloon long sleeves.
"Butter" is a comedy that feature Jennifer Garner as main character Laura Pickler, a woman who becomes a competitive butter sculptor.
Wilde's character, a stripper named Brooke, is one of her competitors. Screenwriter Jason Micaleff a told the Los Angeles Times that the role was inspired by real-life former exotic dancer Diablo Cody, who won an Oscar for her screenplay for the 2007 movie "Juno."
However, Pickler's biggest competition comes in the form of a talented, young, black foster child named Destiny, played by Yara Shahidi, who has previously appeared in the films "Imagine That" and "Salt."
"Butter" also stars Hugh Jackman and "Twilight" actress Ashley Greene and premiered at the Telluride Film Festival earlier this month. An official wide release date has not been announced.
Wilde, one of the most popular rising female stars today, is best known for her roles in the FOX show "House M.D." and in the films "TRON: Legacy" and "Cowboys & Aliens."
