Fire damages classrooms at Artesia school

ARTESIA, Calif.

The blaze broke out just before 3 a.m. in a detached bungalow.

It took crews about 30 minutes to put it out.

Two classrooms are inside that bungalow. It was the only structure damaged.

Two firefighters suffered minor injuries while battling the blaze. One was burned on a hand and the other was burned on a cheek.

They were treated at the scene.

The cause of the fire was unknown.
