Waxahachie Fire Chief David Hudgins said it wasn't immediately clear what chemicals were involved in sparking the fire before 11 a.m.
Flames quickly engulfed a large complex at Magnablend, Inc. facility in Waxahachie. The blaze sparked several large explosions in a warehouse and has also engulfed a fire truck.
Emergency crews told a nearby elementary school to stay inside in case any dangerous gases were released into the air.
Crews expected to quell the flames by late afternoon.
No injuries were reported, and all employees inside the plant's warehouse at the time were evacuated safely.
