Chaz Bono and his partner had the lowest score of the evening, taking the lowest spot in the competition for the second week in a row.
Chaz Bono was born Chastity Bono, daughter of Sonny Bono and fellow singer Cher. Chaz Bono later underwent hormonal treatments to change his gender. He had dedicated his dance on Monday to his father, who died died in a skiing accident in 1998, and talked about him during a brief interview with OnTheRedCarpet.com after the show.
"He was, at that time, with long hair and hippie clothes, he was a different kind of man than what they were used to," Chaz Bono said. "Today, 40 years later, I'm a different kind of man than a lot of people are used to."
The 10 remaining pairs return on Tuesday, October 4 for an elimination episode where the third couple is expected to be eliminated.
"I'm a pretty positive person at this point in my life," Bono added. "You know, I've had a difficult life. I've had to get over a lot of big hurdles - and I have."
