The recently-single (again) Kat Von D is dealing with her breakup from Jesse James through music. No, she's not listening to sad love songs - she's recording her own "tragically romantic" music.
The LA Ink star is recording her first album and says she's been passionate about it her entire life, according to E! Online.
"I've been playing classical piano since I was six. So I understand the form, but it will be fun to be able to translate a message," Von D was quoted as saying.
The 29-year-old said it's a way for her to be creative, comparing it to her tattooing business as well as her clothing line. She said her songs will be "more on the dark, more tragically romantic" side.
Von D and James, the 42-year-old ex-husband of actress Sandra Bullock, broke up for the second time in September, a month after announcing that their engagement was back on. They had called it quits for the first time in late July.
Von D has said that her high profile relationship with James, who admitted to cheating on Bullock while they were married, caused a lot of "turmoil" with friends and family.
