Gang members injured in police-pursuit crash

FULLERTON, Calif.

A Fullerton officer attempted to pull over a white 4-door Cadillac without taillights just after 2 a.m. Thursday, according to the Fullerton Police Dept.

The car fled eastbound on Orangefair Ave. into a parking lot, where the driver drove in circles, then drove southbound on Lemon St. The driver lost control of the car and crashed into a building 1t 336 S. Anaheim Blvd. in Anaheim.

Tustin resident Ryan Booker, 22, and Orange resident Enrique Cervantes, 21, were hospitalized. Booker had critical injuries; Cervantes had serious injuries.

Both suspects are on parole and are documented gang members from Orange, according to police.
