Westminster resident Christopher Raymond Olague, 39, is accused of picking up the girl for a play date with one of his children. He is known to the girl's family, police said.
Olague allegedly took the girl to a Huntington Beach park.
Police say he molested the girl in his car and then gave her $40 to keep quiet. The girl told her parents.
Olague was arrested later Wednesday and booked at the Huntington Beach Police Department city jail on charges of committing a lewd act on a child less than 14 years of age and preventing/dissuading a witness.
Olague was released on $100,000 bail. He's scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 28.
Huntington Beach Police served a search warrant at Olague's residence. Orange County Child Protective Services arranged for the safety of the children in the suspect's house.
Olague is pastor of Refuge Southland Church in Buena Park, and has ties to coaching youth soccer.
Police believe there may be more victims.
