Transit officials said the 710 Freeway from Interstate 105 to Atlantic Boulevard will be closed from midnight to 5 a.m. Monday. After 5 a.m., the northbound lanes will remain shut down and traffic in both directions will be using southbound lanes.
The northbound lanes have been shut down for eight weekends straight as crews make improvements, but they have typically been reopened in time for the Monday morning commute.
Caltrans said the lanes will be reopened early Tuesday.
Commuters are urged to use alternate routes, including the 110 Freeway or Interstate 605.
