Ricki Lake says she has undergone her "hardest week" on "Dancing With The Stars" thus far and jokes she wanted to kill her partner Derek Hough.
The 42-year-old actress and television host and three-time champion Hough, 26, received a score of 29 out of 30 from the judges for their Tango in week four of ABC's hit celebrity ballroom dancing series (read recap). The pair earned the highest scores out of the competition for the third week in a row, and also earned the season's first "10" scores from two of the three judges.
"I'm sort of in shock - it was a really tough week, the hardest week for me, I guess it was like transition in labor," Lake told OnTheRedCarpet.com after the show. "I was really, really having a hard time. But I'm so happy that the judges liked it, and that everyone else in the audience seemed to like it too."
The actress also joked about her partner, Hough, who decided to end their Hitchcock-inspired performance with him killing her in a dramatic scene.
"The bottom line is - I wanted to kill him this week!" Lake joked.
The nine remaining pairs return on Tuesday, October 11 for an elimination episode where the fourth couple is expected to be sent packing.
"It was a really hard dance for me to do," Lake added. "I'm just so grateful that it worked out and people liked it."
