Hope Solo talks about how "Dancing With The Stars" partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy gives her confidence, and says he's like her teammate and coach.
The 30-year-old professional soccer star, and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, 31, received 24 out of 30 from the judges for their "Toy Story" inspired Foxtrot in week four of ABC's hit celebrity ballroom dancing series on Monday (read recap). The pair ended the evening tied for third place with Rob Kardashian and partner Cheryl Burke.
"I liked hearing what Len said," Solo told OnTheRedCarpet.com after the performance. "It's good to hear, but my confidence comes from Maks. He's the one who sees me day in and day out. He's the one I look to to get confidence, to get feedback. At the end of the day, he's my coach, and he's my teammate - so when I need confidence I look to this guy."
Contestant Ricki Lake, known for her work as a talk show host and actress, and professional partner, two-time champion Derek Hough, earned the top score of 29 out of 30 for their Tango. The pair also received the first perfect 10 of the season by two of the three the judges.
The nine remaining pairs return on Tuesday, October 11 for an elimination episode where the fourth couple is expected to be sent packing.
