Warning, spoilers ahead! With a rocky start to her Tango on Monday, Chynna Phillips faced the red lights of the ballroom floor on Tuesday and despite showing promise early in the season, the singer became the fourth person eliminated from the 13th season of "Dancing With The Stars."
"I take full and utter responsibility for what happened last night," Phillips told OnTheRedCarpet.com after her elimination on October 11. "I just blanked out completely and you know, I'm human, it happens and I feel badly about it, especially for Tony."
"I'm you know just really grateful to have had the opportunity to be on the show," she added. "It's an amazing show, the production is just phenomenal, I just love everyone who I have met. I just have adored this experience."
Phillips' partner, Tony Dovolani said he was "puzzled" by the audience's decision. "I was having fun, We were the only couple that actually didn't have a fight on this show. So it makes me puzzled because I don't know what America wants to see. So that's the part that is the most confusing for me," Dovolani said. "We've seen this scenario before and it seems like the audience never really changes, you know?"
Another dance professional, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, chimed in during the interview to give his two cents about this most recent elimination. "It feels like some people are required to do something slightly ok and it's going to be blown up and be looked at as 'Oh my god that is amazing, your incredible,'" Chmerkovskiy said. "And then some people who are incredible only hiccup and everybody points at it and goes, 'See! See! See! You made a mistake. You're out!' That's what it seems like."
The singer's husband, Billy Baldwin, told OnTheRedCarpet.com that watching his wife get eliminated was "heart-wrenching."
"I know that she feels like she let Tony down," he added. "I'm going to have to give a little TLC. You know, some hugs and kisses and foot rubs and stuff like that for the next, I don't know -- it could be days it could be weeks -- I don't know, but she's a pro."
Phillips will donate $60,000 she earned from her time on "Dancing With The Stars" to the Los Angelitos Orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico. "We're building a dormitory for them," Phillips explained about how the money will be spent. "A sixty bedroom dormitory. It's gonna house them, feed them, it's gonna clothe them, it's gonna educate them. The $60,000 dollars that I am going to donate is definitely going to make a huge difference for them."
