The title and release date of the fifth movie in the hit "Die Hard" action franchise, which stars Bruce Willis, has finally been revealed.
"It's going to be called 'A Good Day To Die Hard,'" Tom Rothman, CEO of Fox Filmed Entertainment, said on "The Jim Rome Show," a popular syndicated talk program geared towards men, the movie's target audience.
"Pretty cool," he added. "We give you a release date - people like to know these things. When we put this on the schedule a lot of guys are going to run for the hills. 'A Good Day To Die Hard' will be (released on) Feb. 14, 2013."
The date, Rothman noted, falls on Valentine's Day and on the Thursday before President's Day Weekend, during which movie theaters typically enjoy increased business. "A Good Day To Die Hard" will start filming in January 2012, he said, adding: "So if you got the right kind of girlfriend who knows what's up, that's what you can do on Valentine's Day, 2013."
It was reported in February that Willis is expected to reprise his role as John McClane, which he originated in the first movie, "Die Hard," in 1988. Rothman has not revealed details about the cast or director.
The movie is set to show McClane and his two sons taking on forces in Russia. Audiences last saw the character in the 2007 film "Live Free or Die Hard," which grossed $383.5 million worldwide and also featured Justin Long.
