Ellen DeGeneres tried her best to seduce country singer Keith Urban in a spoof that aired on the comedian's talk show Thursday, October 13.
In the video, which can be seen below, DeGeneres pokes fun at sensual fragrance ads with Urban's real cologne called "Phoenix." DeGeneres tries her best to seduce the singer, who is seen showing off his chest with an open shirt and hair flowing in the wind, by liking the side of his dace and feeding him ice.
"You know that you're the only women on the planet that would be ok with my wife," Urban told DeGeneres on the show after the spoof plays. The singer is married to actress Nicole Kidman.
It was also announced on Thursday that DeGeneres and her "Ellen" writer Alex Herschlag have teamed up to create a comedy. DeGeneres will executive produce the project series called "Weitz & Wong," about a mixed race Jewish-Chinese couple and their children, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The industry paper reports that the series has gotten a script order from ABC, which is the parent company of OnTheRedCarpet.com. Herschlag will write the show. The comedy series is the second project that DeGeneres has sold to a network for next season.
Previously NBC picked up another comedy project from DeGeneres, who will serve as an executive producer on that series. The show is set to star DeGeneres' wife, Portia de Rossi.
NBC made a "put pilot commitment" on that series, meaning that the project has costly penalties to the network if it is not picked up for the fall season.
