Hollywood hacking suspect speaks out, apologizes

LOS ANGELES

Prosecutors said 35-year-old Christopher Chaney of Jacksonville is responsible for stealing private information from stars such as Mila Kunis and Christina Aguilera.

He even got a hold of nude photos of Scarlett Johansson that eventually made their way onto the Internet. He said he's glad he was caught and regrets what he did.

"I was almost relieved months ago when they came and took the computers," said Chaney. "I deeply apologize. I know what I did was probably one of the worst invasions of privacy, you know, someone could experience."

Prosecutors said Chaney was able to guess passwords using publicly available information.

He was released on bail but could face a maximum sentence of 121 years in prison.
