There seems to be another bright spot in the fall season programming as "Revenge" received a full season order from ABC, the network confirmed to OnTheRedCarpet.com on Thursday, October 13.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Happy Endings," another comedy on the network, also received an order for six additional scripts for future episodes.
"Revenge" premiered on Sept. 21, 2011. The drama series stars Emily VanCamp, formerly of "Brothers and Sisters," as Emily Thorne, a young girl who return to Southampton to right the wrongs done to her family 17 years ago.
The show has been averaging 8.8 million viewers on Wednesday nights, according to the industry paper, out pacing the long-running drama "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation."
The Hollywood Reporter also speculates that the ABC comedy "Suburgatory" will be up for a full season order as well. The show has performed strong in the ratings and has averaged 9.8 million viewers since its debut on September 28.
Other shows that have been picked up for the season include CBS's "Two Broke Girls," NBC's "Whitney" and "Up All Night," The CW's "Ringer," "Hart of Dixie" and "The Secret Circle," and the Fox comedy "New Girl."
