Kenny Chesney, Lady Gaga, Usher and Bono and The Edge rarely play to the same fan base, let alone in the same show, but they have joined forces for former president Bill Clinton's charity concert on October 15.
The event, "A Decade of Difference: A Concert Celebrating 10 Years of the William J. Clinton Foundation," will be held at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl and will also include performances by Somali rapper K'Naan, Colombian crooner Juanes.
The former president turned 65 in August and has been celebrating his belated birthday with a three-day Hollywood party, including a gala dinner with a performance by Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks on Friday, a brunch on Saturday morning, the Hollywood Bowl concert on Saturday night and a Presidential Golf Outing on Sunday, according to Clinton's Foundation website.
Celebrity guests at Clinton's gala dinner included Fergie and Josh Duhamel, Jessica Alba, Sofia Vergara, Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy, Jane Fonda, Geena Davis, Patricia Arquette, Sugar Ray Leonard, James Denton, Chevy Chase, Mira Sorvino and Zach Braff, among others.
Proceeds from the concert will go to the William J. Clinton Foundation, which has sought to improve global health, strengthen economies worldwide, protect the environment and promote healthier childhoods.
Ticket prices range from $50 to $550 and the concert will also be streaming live on Yahoo! from 7 p.m. PT, with an option for viewers to make a donation.
