The former "/*Dancing With The Stars*/" contestant snuggled up to Clooney Sunday night in New York City.
In the film, Clooney plays a Hawaiian land baron reeling from a boating accident that left his wife in a coma.
The Oscar winning actor explained why it was so easy to get into character for the role.
"Well, it's such a good writer, such a good director," said Clooney. "Really, all I had to do was serve the material. My aunt was a singer, a really wonderful singer, and later on she just said 'I can't hit the notes like I used to, I can't hold the notes. But I can just serve the material,' and that's really a good lesson in acting for everybody, for me."
"The Descendants" opens in theaters Nov. 18.
