A California-based company is voluntarily recalling hundreds of bags of salad blends because of a possible salmonella contamination.

Taylor Farms, which is based in Salinas, is pulling more than 3,200 salad bags off the shelves.

The company said the salads were sent to supermarkets in several states, including California.

They were sold under the brands Fresh Selection, HEB, Marketside and Taylor Farms.

No illnesses have been reported in connection to the product.
