Jay Leno joins charity Love Ride in Glendale

GLENDALE, Calif.

Love Ride 28 got under way in Glendale Sunday, with kickstands going up at 10 a.m. The bikers embarked on what has become one of the nation's best-known charity motorcycle rides.

Bikers headed up to Castaic Lake for some live music, food and fun. Proceeds from the ride will benefit Autism Speaks.

Peter Fonda and Leno were this year's grand marshals.

"There are so many causes out there," said Leno. "Not one is more important than the other. They're all important, especially nowadays with the economy the way it is, so we appreciate people showing up."
