Kim Kardashian is headed back to the big screen.
The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star, who just celebrated her 31st birthday on Friday, October 21, will play a supporting role in the upcoming Tyler Perry film "The Marriage Counselor," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Kardashian will play a fellow co-worker of the film's lead, a character named Judith, who will be played by former child actress Jurnee Smollett. Judith is a marriage counselor who "stops practicing what she preaches when she rekindles a relationship with an old college flame," according to the industry paper. Production on the film is set to begin in late October.
The film is based on Perry's 10th play of the same name. Smollett has had role in television series like "The Defenders" "Friday Night Lights" and "Grey's Anatomy" but might be most recognizable for her role on "Full House" as Denise Frazer, the best friend of Michelle Tanner -- who was played by Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen.
Kardashian meanwhile, has had roles in "Deep in the Valley" and "Disaster Movie." She also had a guest spot on "CSI: NY" in 2009.
Earlier this week first lady Michelle Obama revealed in a recent interview that President Barack Obama does not like their daughters watching "Keeping Up With The Kardashians."
