Aisha Tyler has signed on to co-host on the panel of "The Talk."
The comedian's first show with her new title was on Monday, October 24, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Tyler fills in one of the spots left by Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete, who were not asked back for the show's second season. Tyler joins Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood, who is another new addition this season, on the current line-up on the show.
Tyler, 41, is no stranger to talk shows and has appeared on "The Talk" as a guest host in the past. She also hosted several episode of "The Late Show" and hosted "Talk Soup" from 2001 to 2002.
The comedian also provides the voice to the Lana character on the FX animated series "Archer." In the past she has had roles on "CSI," "Ghost Whisperer" and "24."
"The Talk" has undergone a few changes in the panel between the first and second seasons. Remini and Peete's departure was announced in August along with the announcement that Kris Jenner would step in to be a guest co-host. Former "Saturday Night Live" alum Molly Shannon also appeared as a guest co-host on the show. Osbourne took some time off from the show as well, in part to recorver from surgery she had to remove her breast implants after one of them leaked into her stomach.
Broadway actress Marissa Jaret Winokur was also an original co-host of the show, but exited the series in January.
