Sgt. Lucien Daigle was arrested Sunday by the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department after he was involved in a traffic collision at Greenspot and Santa Ana Truck roads.
Deputies said they believe Daigle was involved in an earlier residential burglary in the 8900 block of Tres Lagos Drive in Mentone.
Daigle was placed on administrative leave, pending an investigation. His bail was set at $125,000.
