James Van Der Beek announced he is going to be a father again.
The former "Dawson's Creek" star wrote on his official Twitter page on Wednesday, October 26, " Just when we thought we couldn't feel any more blessed, it seems the universe has plans to give our daughter a sibling..."
The actor and his wife Kimberly are the parents to a 13-month-old daughter named Olivia, who was born on Sept. 25, 2010. Van Der Beek and his wife were married in August 2010 in a traditional Kabbalah ceremony in Israel. Van Der Beek has for several years practiced the form of Jewish Mysticism and his wife had often quoted Kabbalah-related sayings on her Twitter page.
The actor finalized his divorce from actress Heather McComb in early June 2010. The two married in 2003 and had no children.
Van De Beek has an upcoming role in the ABC comedy "Don't Trust The B---- in Apartment 23" set to debut mid-season. The actor will be playing a version of himself on the series who is the best friend to one of the main characters named Chloe, played by Krysten Ritter of "Breaking Bad" and "Gravity."
Other actors who have played themselves on television include Jennifer Grey in the 1999 sitcom "It's Like, You Know..." and "Friends" star Matt LeBlanc on the HBO series "Episodes."
Since his days on the popular teen drama, Van Der Beek has had roles in "Mercy" and "One Tree Hill."
