"It was the middle of the night and I heard a loud shake and a bang, and I thought we were having an earthquake. I look outside my back window and I hear a guy yelling for help, and then there's a big truck in my pool, so...it's crazy right now," explained Ernie Duarte, a resident of the home.
Duarte lives in the house with his three college roommates. They say they were studying for mid-terms and had just gone to bed when the truck came crashing through their backyard.
The 25-year-old driver of the truck was able to swim out of the pool on his own and was not injured. He was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving under the influence.
