The popular Redbox movie rental service is joining the likes of Netflix in raising its prices.

Instead of paying $1 to rent a DVD at grocery store kiosks, customers will now pay $1.20.

The company says higher operating costs and new debit card rules are forcing it to raise rates.

The price change excludes Blu-ray movies and video games. Those prices will remain at $1.50 and $2, respectively.
