Relatives of Rebecca Zahau don't accept the medical examiner's conclusion that she committed suicide.
A Pennsylvania pathologist hired by the family said he will correlate his findings with the original autopsy report and police reports before releasing his findings. He expects that will take a week or so.
Zahau's naked and bound body was found in July at the Coronado mansion owned by Arizona pharmaceutical executive Jonah Shacknai.
Authorities said Zahau was upset over a fatal fall Shacknai's 6-year-old son Max suffered at the house two days earlier.
Shacknai is founder and chief executive of Medicis Pharmaceuticals Corp. and owner of the 27-room waterfront mansion. Zahau was his girlfriend of two years. Max was his son from a marriage that ended in divorce.
