OTRC: Rob Kardashian on Kim's divorce: it's a very tough time for our entire family

Rob Kardashian talks to OnTheRedCarpet.com after the October 31 episode of 'Dancing With The Stars.'

Rob Kardashian pulled off what judges called his "best dance yet" on Monday's "Dancing With The Stars," but it was his sister Kim stealing all the headlines after filing for a divorce after just 72 days of marriage to basketball player Kris Humphries.

"It's a very tough time, obviously, for our entire family and especially my sister, Kim," Rob Kardashian told OnTheRedCarpet.com backstage after the show. "But we're all here as a family, supportive, always, no matter what decision she makes. So it's just our job now to be there for her."

Kim Kardashian, 31, filed for divorce at a Los Angeles court on Monday, October 31, which she also listed as the date of the pair's separation, according to legal papers obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com. She cites "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. This was Kardashian's second marriage. She and Humphries, 26, have no children.

Rob Kardashian and his partner Cheryl Burke earned 25 points for their sexy tango on Halloween night, to the theme of "The Addams Family." Head judge Bruno Tonioli told him, "You've never been so manly and in control."

The pair landed in the second spot on the leader board, but Kardashian was hesitant to say he thought he belonged in the finals.

"I don't want to be arrogant or cocky or jinx anything. We have a good thing going on," Kardashian said. "Right now, we're in second, which I'm very proud of. A couple weeks ago, we were at second also. So, you know, I'm definitely feeling like a competitor, definitely want to be in the finals but I don't want to jinx anything yet."

Kardashian and Burke were also in the winning team for the group number -- Team Paso Doble, which earned 26 points as a group. Rob also benefit from getting brotherly support in the group dance rehearsals, getting a male perspective from professional dancers Derek Hough and Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Kardashian's older sister Kourtney was in the audience, cheering him on with her boyfriend Scott Disick and their son Mason.

"All of my legs are wrapped up like crazy. I definitely pulled my groin and my hamstrings, everything. I did the splits," Kardashian said of his intense practice sessions. "I was able to dance today. I barely could walk, literally, but that adrenalin and all that... I'm not going to let something like ever affect me. I just want to be here, so I'm going to push through whatever."

Someone who apparently wasn't as eager to stick around was his sister Kim Kardashian, who left the country several hours after filing her divorce papers this morning.

Kim arrived at LAX on Monday night, without her $1 million engagement or wedding rings. The reality star and her sister Khloe Kardashian Odom headed to Sydney, Australia to launch a new handbag collection, which they designed with Bruno Schiavi.

The six remaining "Dancing With The Stars" pairs will return on Tuesday, November 1 for an elimination episode where the seventh couple is expected to be sent packing.
