Justin Bieber and his representatives are speaking out about a California woman's claims that the pop star fathered her 3-month-old baby boy.
According to Star Magazine, the woman, identified by the tabloid as 20-year-old Mariah Yeater, filed a lawsuit against Bieber, demanding that he take a paternity test. She also wants him "to provide adequate support" for her baby.
The woman said she got pregnant after having sex with the 17-year-old singer backstage at a Los Angeles concert on October 25, 2010.
The tabloid reports that Yeater wrote in a hand-signed affidavit that she was 19 years old at the time of the alleged encounter. She said one of Bieber's security guards approached her and asked if she wanted to meet the pop star backstage.
The woman claimed that she and Bieber "were mutually attracted to one another" and that he asked her to go to a private place so that they could be alone.
"I agreed to go with him and on the walk to a private area, he told me he wanted to make love to me and this was going to be his first time," she reportedly wrote.
Beiber's representatives denied the allegations.
"While we haven't yet seen the lawsuit, it's sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory and demonstrably false claims. We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations," his publicist said in a statement obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com.
Bieber addressed the rumors on his Twitter page on Wednesday morning.
"all the rumors...the gossip....Im gonna focus on the positives....the music," he tweeted.
