Rob Kardashian says he is "super happy" about earning his highest score yet on "Dancing with the Stars."
The 24-year-old television personality and brother to reality star Kim, and two-time champion Cheryl Burke, 27, received a score of 27 out of 30 from the judges for their Quickstep and 24 out of 30 for their Jive in week 8 of ABC's hit celebrity ballroom dancing series (read recap). The pair earned a combined score of 51, placing them securely in the middle of the competition.
"I'm super happy," Kardashian told OnTheRedCarpet.com after the performance on Monday. "I mean, literally, we try to improve week after week, and I feel like we accomplished that tonight. We got our highest score, 27, can't really be happier than that. I mean, we're in week 8, so this run is almost over. And the fact that we improved, I mean, that's perfect."
Kardashian's two-time championship winning partner Burke says the pair is ready for the finals.
"He's the one who wanted to have me push him," Burke told OnTheRedCarpet.com "So I said, 'all right, here you go. This is what we're going to need to do to make the final' - and he's ready for it."
J.R. Martinez and his partner Karina Smirnoff soared above the rest with their Jive and their Waltz in week 8, earning the first perfect score of the season - not one, but two perfect scores of 30 out of 30.
The five remaining pairs return on Tuesday, November 8 for an elimination episode, during which the eighth couple is expected to be sent packing.check for local TV listings).
