Taylor Swift says she is "freaking out" over winning Entertainer of the Year, the top prize at the CMA Awards, for the second time.
It was the only award the 21-year-old singer took home at the Country Music Association's annual ceremony. The event took place on Wednesday, November 9, in Nashville and aired live on ABC.
"I am freaking out," Swift told OnTheRedCarpet.com after the show. "It's one thing to win (Entertainer of the Year) once, and you're like, 'Yeah, that was the craziest, biggest deal of my life.' And then to win it is again ... this can't be possibly."
Swift also performed an acoustic version of her song "Ours" while sitting on a couch. She wore jeans and a pink sweater during the toned-down performance, which earned her a standing ovation.
Brad Paisley, who co-hosted the ceremony with Carrie Underwood for the fourth time, took home the prize for Entertainer of the Year in 2010. Swift won the award for the first time in 2009, beating Paisley, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban.
Other major winners of the night included Shelton and his wife, fellow country singer Miranda Lambert. The two took home the awards for Best Male Vocalist and Best Female Vocalist. Swift was also nominated for the latter prize. She received a total of five nods this year.
"Congrats to my hubby too," Lambert said in her acceptance speech, before telling Shelton: "It's gonna be a good night tonight baby!"
Lambert and Shelton got married on May 14 and previously took home the his-and-hers CMA awards for male and female vocalists of the year in 2010.
Her husband told OnTheRedCarpet.com after the show: "Miranda came and sat down after she won hers and she goes, 'Did we pay somebody? How the hell does this happen?' I said, 'I don't know either.'"
