"It was really fun. I mean, I laughed so hard making this movie and I just loved both Jill and Jack, and I thought their dynamic was hilarious and so relatable," said Holmes.
Also costarring in the comedy is Al Pacino.
"Al Pacino is hilarious in the movie. He plays a psychotic version of himself, that's having a nervous breakdown and needs his Jill to get him out of it," said Sandler.
Working with the Oscar winner proved to be challenging, surprising, and sometimes downright scary.
"He hit me in scenes. He'd say, 'Is it alright?'... In the back of my head I'm like, 'how hard am I going to get hit right now?' But yeah, I loved it. He did scare me though," said Sandler.
Moviegoers will see a number of other famous faces in the film. Many of Sandler's famous friends are featured in cameo roles, including TV host Regis Philbin, comedian Norm MacDonald and tennis pro John McEnroe.
"Jack and Jill" is in theaters now.
