Emma Stone had her second "Saturday Night Live" hosting gig on Saturday, November 12.
In her opening monologue, the actress who is set to appear in "The Amazing Spider-Man," was interrupted by cast member Andy Samberg in a Spider Man costume, but was eventually rescued by her real "Spider-Man" co-star and her rumored boyfriend, "The Social Network" actor Andrew Garfield.
"America is suffering record unemployment and we outsource Spider-Man to England," Samberg said of his new British rival.
In one sketch, Stone played a Miss America beauty queen with a knack for ventriloquism who visits the "Secret Word" game show. The actress also played several other characters including an awkward office co-worker who makes Kristen Wiig's bridal shower a disaster.
The episode of "Saturday Night Live" also included Coldplay as the musical guest. Two of Stones' skits can be seen below.
The actress, who is 22, cemented herself as one of the summer's hottest stars, appearing opposite Ryan Gosling in "Crazy, Stupid, Love," dumping Justin Timberlake in "Friends with Benefits" and starring in the movie adaptation of the best-selling novel "The Help."
She will also play Peter Parker's blonde love interest Gwen Stacy in "The Amazing Spider-Man," opposite her rumored boyfriend, Andrew Garfield. The two have not commented on the nature of their relationship.
The actress has also had roles in films like "Zombieland," Easy A," "The House Bunny" and "Superbad."
