Julia Roberts plays what may be one of the most conceited Evil Queens seen in any adaptation of "Snow White."

In her new comedy film "Mirror, Mirror," the 44-year-old actress dons gaudy dresses, rolls her eyes at the mere mention of the young maiden and dismisses her fair complexion as a product of sun depravation.

In this film, the queen, despite her title, appears to be short on cash.

"The prince is rich - I'm going to marry him - and then my financial problems will be solved," she declares to her servant.

Roberts also demonstrates what has become her trademark laugh after a maid struggles to get her into a corset she wore when she was slimmer.

"This doesn't fit - you must have shrunk it!" she snaps, before saying: "I knew I was the same size."

But make no mistake - the queen is still "pretty evil," Roberts told OnTheRedCarpet.com last month.

The actress, who was named one of 25 most trusted celebrities earlier this year, made her comments at the premiere of another one of her upcoming films - " In "Mirror, Mirror," Snow White herself is played by Lily Collins, daughter of singer and drummer Phil Collins. The 22-year-old actress recently starred alongside rumored ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautner in the action film "Abduction."

Armie Hammer, who played the Winklevoss twins in the 2010 film "The Social Network," portrays the prince the Evil Queen is hell-bent on snagging. Hammer recently starred alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in Clint Eastwood's film "J. Edgar," which was released earlier this month, and is set to appear with Johnny Depp in Disney's movie adaptation of "The Lone Ranger."

"Mirror, Mirror" is set for release in March 2012 and is one of two film adaptations of the classic tale of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves" that is due to hit theaters next year.

The other movie is "Snow White and the Huntsman," a darker adventure film that stars "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart as the main character and Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen. It hits theaters in June 2012.
