November 19, 2011 12:00:00 AM PST
A 10-year-old boy is being called a hero, after helping to save his 6-year-old sister from being kidnapped.

Jai'von Simpson and Terrincy Butler live in Memphis, Tennessee. They were getting off the school bus when Simpson says a man walked up and grabbed his little sister's wrist.

That's when Simpson sprang into action.

"He had grabbed my hand and he said he loved me," said Butler.

"He said 'I love you,' and then I yanked back," said Simpson. "His hand had slid and he hold her tightly."

Simpson yanked again and his sister came free; they ran home.

Police arrested 61-year-old William Moore not far from the school bus stop. He's charged with attempted kidnapping.
