OTRC: Will.i.am to debut solo single at the American Music Awards

Will.i.am, front man of the Black Eyed Peas plans to debut his solo single, "T.H.E (The Hardest Ever)" featuring Mick Jagger and Jennifer Lopez at the American Music Awards on November 20.

Lopez will join Will.i.am on-stage at the AMA ceremony to perform the track and it will be available for download on iTunes immediately following the performance.

"T.H.E (The Hardest Ever)" is the debut single from Will.i.am's upcoming solo album "#willpower," which will be released next year on Interscope Records.

The music video for "T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)" was directed by Rich Lee and is slated for release later this month.

The 2011 American Music Awards ceremony is set to take place on Sunday, November 20, at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles and air live on ABC at 8 p.m. ET ( Check out a full list of nominations).

The show will also feature performances from Christina Aguilera, Marc Anthony, Kelly Clarkson, Chris Brown, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Daughtry, Enrique Iglesias with Ludacris, Gym Class Heroes, Lil Jon, OneRepublic, Mary J. Blige, The Band Perry, David Guetta, Pitbull, Maroon 5 and teen pop star and last year's Artist of the Year, Justin Bieber.
