OTRC: Hulk Hogan's ex-wife Linda got $7.44 million, or 70 percent of liquid assets, in divorce

Hulk Hogan's ex-wife Linda received $7.44 million, more than 70 percent of the pair's liquid assets, as well as several expensive cars in the pair's divorce settlement, court records show.

She had filed for divorce from the 58-year-old wrestling champion, father of her children Nick and Brooke, in 2007 after being married to him for some 23 years. Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, and his ex-wife, 52, formally ended their marriage in 2009 after waging a lengthy legal battle over their financial assets, including properties and vehicles.

The terms of their divorce settlement were made public recently, in a document attached to a motion filed at a Florida court earlier this week, according to legal records. It deals with a dispute over profits made from Hogan's various companies. The $7.44 million Bollea received was part of $10.41 million the couple held in bank and investment accounts.

Hogan agreed to give his ex-wife 40 percent ownership in the films and also pay her an additional $3 million as a property settlement, the St. Petersburg Times reported. She will not receive alimony.

Hogan, who married Jennifer McDaniel a year ago, has not commented about the matter but did recently Tweet: "Thank God any negative or blood sucking vampires are dead and gone in my new life." He did not elaborate.

The St. Petersburg Times said the wrestling star's ex-wife can keep several expensive vehicles they possessed when they were together, a Cadillac Escalade, a Corvette and a Rolls-Royce.

The newspaper also stated Hogan and Linda Bollea agreed to sell several of their properties, including the house where they filmed the reality show "Hogan Knows Best," which aired from 2005 to 2007 on VH1 and also featured their children.

Hogan continues to appear on television and recently launched a reality show called "Hulk Hogan's Micro Championship Wrestling," which sees him train and mentor little people to become wrestlers.
