Federal customs agents said they foiled an attempt to smuggle more than 9 tons of marijuana into California.

Video of this week's bust, provided by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, shows hundreds of pillow-sized bricks of marijuana found inside a big rig at the Otay Mesa Commercial Port of Entry.

Officials said the street value of the marijuana is estimated at more than $13 million.

Seven suspects, whose ages range from 19 to 47, were arrested in connection to the bust. They were arraigned in court Wednesday.

The bust was near the same crossing where a major underground drug-smuggling tunnel was discovered this month.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
