Eva Longoria divorced NBA player Tony Parker last January, but the "Desperate Housewives" actress is thankful to have found another love for her life - Eduardo Cruz.
"Love did not work with that person. But it can work with another," the 36-year-old actress told Vanity Fair's Spanish edition in their December cover story. "The only thing I will say is I was very lucky to find Edu."
Longoria has been romantically linked to Cruz, a 26-year-old singer and the younger brother of actress Penelope Cruz, since the spring of 2011. The two have been photographed holding hands and kissing and spent the week of Thanksgiving in Miami Beach and Los Angeles.
Longoria and her second husband Tony Parker finalized their divorce in January after more than three years of marriage. She was also married to Tyler Christopher, who plays Nikolas Cassadine on the soap opera "General Hospital," between 2002 and 2004.
Despite her two divorces, Longoria told Vanity Fair that she still believes in love.
"There's a reason I fell in love and got married. I believed in it," she said. "Supposedly I should be angry, resentful and disillusioned about relationships. But I'm not."
Longoria recently denied tabloid reports that she was dating NBA player Matt Barnes. She made her comments soon after the New York Post's Page Six reported that she and Barnes, who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers, "shared a flirty dinner" in New York last month.
"Matt Barnes and I are not dating!" Longoria said on her Twitter page. "We are doing a charity event together for Padres and Athletes vs Cancer. Why is the truth never the headline?"
Barnes had announced in October that he and fiancé Gloria Govan, mother of his 2-year-old twins and star of the VH1 reality show "Basketball Wives LA," had broken up.
